As the digital economy takes centre-stage around the world, the demand for a safe and secure cyberspace and demand of trusted digital ecosystem has also grown exponentially.
Under Malaysia Cyber Security Strategy (MCSS), a specific initiative has been developed to spur the National Cyber Security R&D and promote a competitive local industry and technology. Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), in collaboration with the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA), is initiating the National Cybersecurity Innovation Challenge Program ie. Cyber100. The Cyber100 initiative will host numerous cybersecurity challenges on a national scale. Its goal is to seek solutions for industry-specific problems while promoting the creation of local innovative technologies. This will further strengthen Malaysia’s cyber security community and position the country as a digital hub for this sector
